1. Understanding our audience

The Digital Rabbi podcast is aimed at church leaders, business owners, creatives & entrepreneurs. Many (but not all) of our guests are Christians but either way our audience want to hear more of the back story and understand why you see the world the way you do.

We want honest, authentic & unfiltered instead of polished & over-prepared.

2. What to expect

Each episode is approx 30-40 mins and is a fairly free flowing conversational style. The vibe is relaxed, fun & friendly so don’t worry about over-preparing. You’ll be asked about what you do, your back story and then Sats will dig deeper with questions from there. You’ll also have an opportunity to promote anything at the end of the episode if you would like to.

3. Equipment required

The emphasis is on audio recording but we may also use video to share some clips on social media. If you have a nice microphone & backdrop that is helpful but equally not essential. Some of our more creative guests have a proper set up but also plenty of our guests have just used AirPods or similar.

Try to be in a nice quiet room, use headphones where you can and good internet doesn’t hurt either.

We use a service called Riverside which you can access online to tune in and record. This records all of the video & audio locally which means that even if there are connection issues, it will still capture everything. Please note that you need to be be using the Chrome browser to use this website. We’ll also do a final edit before release.
